The Stevenson School is a rambling boarding school campus set in the native woodland of the Pebble Beach coastal area in Carmel, CA. The new Rosen Student Center and amphitheater are designed and positioned to become the new heart of the campus;  the center for student life and the primary gathering place.  As a boarding school, the campus provides  students with opportunities for an  active social life, including after school interaction with resident faculty.  The landscape design supports this goal by providing a wide range of gathering spaces: a fire pit, study areas, and wide stairways for seating.
