The revitalization of the Student Community Center (SCC), a mid-century complex that encompasses Lower Sproul Plaza, Alumni Quad and Upper Sproul Plaza, is a student based initiative that calls for reinvigorating its existing site into a state-of-the-art student center rooted in sustainable practices. Both new construction and adaptive reuse will be combined to celebrate legacy and history while modernizing its facilities to flexibly accommodate the evolving needs of future generations of students. MRY and CMG have worked closely together to ensure that site and building improvements are fully integrated to ensure social and environmental goals are achieved.
