555 Fourth Street is a 300-unit condo complex in San Francisco’s South of Market area. CMG’s concept for the podium courtyard balanced the desire to enhance views for residents living on all levels with the need to provide privacy to those on the podium level. The meandering walk, palm trees and lush understory plantings create a garden oasis for neighbors to enjoy. CMG designed and oversaw the fabrication of the large precast concrete planters and coordinated the structural and MEP requirements required to achieve the desired on-structure planting design.
