A true legend in the recording industry, The Plant has been the "office" of the likes of The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Santana, John Lee Hooker, Metallica, Primus, and many other rock and roll superstars. CMG designed a garden room which will serve as an amenity to the bands in Studio Room 3 during long recording sessions. The small, fully enclosed garden (20ft x 45ft) contains a deck with long bench seating, Jacuzzi, water feature, tropical planting, and a greenhouse. The playful shapes of the curvilinear deck and sinuous bench create dynamic spaces within the garden.
