CMG and master plan architects EHDD developed a 25-year plan for an existing K-8 private school nestled within a 37 acre canyon along the San Francisco Bay. In LEED Gold Certified Phase 1, CMG studied systems that formed the existing campus, while the architect explored building program. CMG & EHDD collaborated on building massing and structure, open space, and circulation. Phase 2 is LEED Platinum Certified and includes a new ceremonial amphitheater, a K-2 Lower School playground, and a mile long Creek Restoration. The Lower School Playground features a play environment, supervised access to the streambed, and a fantasy plant garden.
