CMG is working with a host of neighborhood groups, city departments, clients and the community to ensure that the redevelopment at Hunter’s Point includes high-quality open spaces for the residents and regional community. Working iteratively with the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, CMG structured schematic designs around preserving vantage points and creating porosity throughout the site. By designating a series of corridors as pocket parks, the dispersed public spaces accommodate a range of programs including community gardens, dining terraces, overlooks, and informal play areas all set to spectacular views of the Bay.
