CMG's design for Mint Plaza transforms a downtown back alley into a vibrant public pedestrian plaza and festival space. The plaza both serves adjacent buildings and provides needed public space for the neighborhood and local workers. The plaza’s simple design maximizes flexibility. Key elements such as the arbor and rain gardens shape space while performing as sustainable urban infrastructure.
