Pacific Overlook is a parking lot atop a bluff in the residential neighborhood of San Pedro, CA, looking over a previously existing ‘Sunken City’. The six acres of sea-eroded landscape below the bluff are also accessible by a series of trails. The CMG project creates gathering places and ocean views from above, as well as improvements to the existing fence along the bluff's edge.  Wood viewing platforms and corten steel planters are filled with sedum and sit atop concrete and asphalt pads capping the site. Led by LA Harbor/Watts Economic Corp and funded by the State Coastal Conservancy, it is a part of the ongoing California Coastal Trails and waterfront improvements in the LA Harbor area.
