Chris is a founding partner of CMG Landscape Architecture and works across boundaries - be they creative, technical, or management-oriented. His personal focus is on public parks and community spaces because they offer the best opportunity to deepen the relationship between people and place and create social and ecological value. Chris brings an inventive and rigorous stormwater management and ecological system agenda to each of his projects. He sees design as a way of thinking and investing that is simultaneously intuitive and rational, creative and solution-oriented, open-ended and critical. As a world traveler, avid reader, backpacker, and volunteer, he regularly embarks on personal studies of nature, culture, science, and philosophy.
