David Gastaneta


David is an Associate at CMG Landscape Architecture with a range of experience working on many project types varying in scope – including city parks, smaller infrastructure designs, mid-sized multi-unit housing and modular climbing structures. From the expansive scale of Treasure Island Parks and Open Space to the micro-focused detail of Willie Woo Woo Wong Park and Playground in Chinatown – San Francisco – David uses his background expertise in architecture to focus on navigating design through both analog and digital representation, rapid prototyping and parametric design with an emphasis on construction and detailed documentation. He is a leader in 3D design studies and modeling software and excels at working collaboratively and welcomes opportunities for both teaching and learning. David holds a Bachelor of Architecture from California College of Arts, where he has won multiple awards including a Jury Nomination and a Charrette Facility Vote Winner.
