David Kunugi
Designer
David is a Designer at CMG Landscape Architecture. His prior work experience spanning North America, South America, Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East lends a sensitivity to accounting for culture and community with design. He views landscape architecture as a middle ground bridging creativity with functionality for people. David brought his novel experience to CMG’s Biomed Gateway of Pacific, a unique corporate space design opportunity – a private development with ecology and public accessibility in mind.
David enjoys working in urban environments at all scales – from art installation to master planning level. David received an Outstanding Community Service Award from University of California, Los Angeles - Environmental Science Graduating Class. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Environmental Science and Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles.
