Renee is a Designer at CMG Landscape Architecture. Renee’s background in fine art, painting, environmental design, and landscape architecture lends her the creative tools and practical abilities necessary to adapt to various projects from the regional scale projects to even small garden scale projects. Through her work at CMG, she has gained expertise in many aspects of project development, within city involved and community engagement, ecological approaches as well as ranging from graphic communication. Renee has worked on CMG’s most sustainably and ecological habitat focused projects – lending her diverse expertise towards Crissy Field, Treasure Island, Bay Meadows and St. James Park. Also, she has contributed her expertise in an efficient and elegant design for some of the campus projects such as Nueva middle school, Marin Country Day School, Sunnylands admin campus and UCSD Triton projects. Her vision is to bring people closer to their surroundings, creating an environment harmonizing the two and stimulating dialogue between these forces. It is needed to motivate the public to participate in stewardship. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Certificate of Urban Design from the University of Pennsylvania where she won the Chair’s Merit Scholarship, as well as, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting & Print Making – in addition to a degree in Environmental Design from Ewha Womans University.
