Michael is an Associate at CMG Landscape Architecture with a strong background in technical design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration. With a focus on CMG’s built work, he translates between contractors, the clients and design teams to help the team implement quality-built work for a wide variety of project types. Michael takes joy in getting projects built that exceed the Client’s and Design Team’s expectations. His QA/QC experience on Willie “Woo Woo” Wong Playground & Community Center has spanned landscape architecture and construction management, bringing the project to fruition and providing public open space to one of San Francisco’s most densely populated urban areas. Through Mission Creek Park P3, a lively urban plaza and waterfront esplanade, Michael has honed this knowledge in the application of design, materials, and field work to ensure a professional quality in the outcome of project. Michael believes in work that makes communities better through versatile and resilient public spaces that incorporate environmental systems that enhance the urban environment. His work Daggett Plaza and the LAVC Urban Forest Master Plan have both received Merit Awards from the American Society of Landscape Architects. Mike holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from California Polytechnic State University with a Minor in Sustainable Environments.
