Wesley Cogan

Wesley is an Associate at CMG Landscape Architecture. Growing up on the East Coast, Wesley realized her love of cities and design at a young age. With her passion for designing for people, whom she believes play an invaluable role in the spaces landscape architects create, Wesley considers how people will use a space and then designs solutions that offer a sense of flexibility and materiality with an attentiveness to detail. Wesley brought her expertise to CMG’s Mission Rock – a 27-acre missed use waterfront development project, by helping create a thorough public realm design concept for San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood. From the site’s historical traces of the past to the potentials of tomorrow, she drew creative inspiration from the site’s story. Wesley holds multiple Student Honor Awards from the American Society of Landscape Architects in both Communications and Analysis & Planning. She has also been a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley through the Summer Design Academy. Wesley holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture with Honors in Research Distinction from The Ohio State University.
