Chris is the Director of Marketing + Business Development at CMG Landscape Architecture. As a communications professional with experience working within the fields of urban design, Chris holds an interest and focus on where ecological research and design strategies intersect within marketing and communication conversations.
Chris manages all tasks within CMG’s Marketing Team – overseeing and directing marketing efforts, including coordinating with CMG Leadership groups to implement business development initiatives and strategies. His role includes strategy generation, marketing objectives, research (trends, service areas and gaps, CRM, messaging and market positioning), leads and pursuit generation, and network development.
Chris has worked in marketing across landscape architecture and architecture firms, as well as LEED Green Business Councils and Horticulture Non-Profits. He has been certified as a LEED Green Associate from 2017-2019. Chris spoke at the 2021 ASLA SKILL ED Conference on how to gain strategic, mission-based business in the AEC industry. The CMG Marketing Team was recognized nationally in 2021, winning a SMPS Honor Award for External Communications in the Video Digital category for the CMG Firm Video. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Design from Parsons School of Design, as well as completing a study program in Environmental Design from Art Center College of Design.
