Devon is a Designer at CMG whose work is shaped by a background in nonprofit organizations in the United States and abroad. Her interests are centered on community-based design and the role of design as a form of storytelling and advocacy, with the goal of fostering greater environmental stewardship and engagement.
Devon’s experience spans a wide range of landscape architecture contexts. She has worked as a research assistant contributing to the Cultural Landscape Report of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in Washington, DC, and as a Design Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania where she supported a United Nations initiative focused on expanding Dakar, Senegal’s greenbelt in response to rapid urbanization and desertification. Most recently, she worked at a Northern California design studio creating nature-based play and educational spaces.
During graduate school, Devon served on the production team for LA+, the University of Pennsylvania’s interdisciplinary landscape architecture journal. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design with a focus in Urban Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Bucknell University.
