Julie Gawendo

Julie has five years of global experience designing and managing landscape projects at a variety of scales, and her passion lies within the urban environment. She has a deep interest in movement through the city and how research, creative documentation and the experience of these complex interactions can become catalysts for design. Before CMG, Julie was involved with the design, management and development of the Governors Island Park and Public Space from concept through construction. She is now immersed in the redevelopment of Treasure Island, making her a specialist in urban islands and the complexities that come with these unique ecosystems on both sides of the country.
